Why do you come to First Church of the Apostolic Faith?
Time is very precious.
A question that many ask today is why spend your time going to church?
Other questions I sometimes get are, why do folks choose First church as their church? What are they getting and why do they keep coming back?

When I search for a place of worship, my first priority is to learn if the Truth of God’s Word is preached. There is no doubt First Church does nothing less than teach and preach Biblical truth. The next aspect which is just as important is God’s Spirit to move freely among all that attend; for they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Holy Ghost and fire is aflame in First Church, which is plenty in itself. Include a warm and friendly family in the people of First Church, and I can’t imagine another place to be.
I first visited First Church close to 7 years ago. I came because I had such good report from some close friends of mine and what I experienced was much more than anyone could ever be able to describe.
FCAF’s commitment to biblical accuracy and the Pastor’s phraseology is what confirmed in my spirit that this would be my permanent church home. The services have challenged me to grow and mature in the Lord; they keep me focused and dare me to step out on faith and exercise my spiritual muscles.
From day one, the same, selfless, genuine, loving spirit has been shown by Pastor Battle, his wife and ALL of the members; this truly is a happy, healthy and nurturing spiritual family and I thank God daily that he has led me to such a wonderful place to fellowship and worship, to learn and to grow and help keep me on the straight and narrow path.
The joy of the Lord is so indescribable! It is what gives me peace and rest. Praise God!!!
Praise the Lord!! There are so many reasons why I choose FCAF as my home. I visited FCAF many years ago, although I enjoyed it, my heart was too into the world. Needless to say I didn’t stay long. After many years of heartache and suffering, I desided that it was time for a change, so I tracked down Sister Samantha. She invited me to church (as I knew she would) and I acepted. My first visit was on new years eve of 2008, the moment I entered the church, I knew I was where I belonged, I was finaly home.
I walked into FCAF broken down, broken hearted, I hated the person I had become and I was very ashamed. The members of FACF welcomed me with tremendous amounts of love, kindness, and friendship. They gave me a sence of belonging when I was ready to give up on life.
Through the anointed teachings of Pastor Battle and the loving support of the other saints, I learned about Gods truthful word. And most importantly I learned how to regain my salvation and build it on a solid foundation. I learned what it realy meant to love the Lord, and throught that I learned to love myself. I remain at FCAF today because of the solid foundation I have received, and the amazing friends who I now consider to be my family.
Gods Holy Spirit is felt at every service. In the 10 months I have been a member of FCAF I have never attended a service or bible study that I didn’t learn something, or receive a spirital blessing. Pastor Noah Battle has such a blessed way of preaching God’s truthful word, it always touches my heart and soul. In our bible study’s he take the topic and breaks it down to the foundation and the starts to build it up, explaing every detail, and always anwering ever question with such clearaty.
The FCAF has been nothing less than a blessing to my soul ever since I visited for Sunday school on April 26, 2009. It is so beyond encouraging to hear the teachings that are supported by the word of God, and to fellowship with like-minded individuals. Each service that I have attended though they are few has made my heart rejoice and has fed my soul tremendously! God is so good, and he deserves all the praise!!!!!!
